Students to bring
A pencil, a blank page notebook for sketching and a will to get their hands dirty!!
Techniques
Pinching, Coiling, Slab rolling, Soft slab building, Texturing, Free Form, and Wedging.
Student work
Students will need to make 6 pieces of work approximate size 4” high.
Having completed the assignments, they will get to choose any 2 pieces to be bisque fired.
NOTE -
- Glazing and wheel work is not a part of this course. Those techniques are tackled in the advanced wheel throwing workshops.
- Any additional work that is fired or glazed will be charged extra.
- Studio reference books may be referred to within the studio only and not be taken home.
